We don't choose the families we are born into and yet they are typically our first experience of belonging. They are also often our first experience of pain. Wounds that happen in childhood need special attention for healing so that these wounds are not driving our adult life choices. When adults, whether that be parent with adult child or adult siblings engage in this healing together, it is courageous and beautiful.
Family therapy can also be helpful when dealing with grief, end of life issues and more. We hope to offer a space of compassion, education, and non-judgment to support this healing together.
